Frequently asked questions.
How does BlueSummons price its platform?
Per-agency, annually. Pricing scales with agency size and subpoena volume. Every user in scope — officers, supervisors, clerks, liaisons, DA staff — is included.
Is there a contract or can we pilot first?
Both. Most agencies start with a short paid pilot (30–60 days) before committing to an annual agreement. Talk to us about what fits your procurement process.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your agency's data is fully isolated, encrypted at rest, and exportable on demand. We never sell or share data with third parties.
Where is the platform hosted?
On hardened US-based cloud infrastructure with per-agency row-level isolation, encrypted at rest and in transit. Detailed security documentation is available under NDA.
How long does onboarding take?
Most agencies are live within one to two weeks: account setup, rank and shift configuration, training for clerks and supervisors, and a soft launch with officers.
Do you work with DA offices and courts directly?
Yes — DA offices and clerk staff can be added to the agencies they coordinate with, so subpoenas land in the right intake queue automatically.
